Bowling Fun

We had a fun night out with about 14 of our members

We all went to Blacktown Bowling Centre

Lots of laughs

but there is only 1 winner at the end of the night

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

coffee afterwards.... great night

New Venue Lone Pine Tavern Rooty Hill

Well we had our first meeting at our new venue.

All went well, we had a good turn out and an informative meeting

We Celebrated with and awarded Brendan his "70"Pin

We wished Stan a speedy recovery , he is currently in Westmead Hospital

We welcomed back and listened with great interest on Ross's adventures around Australia

We welcomed Ian onboard as our new branch secretary

Here i am finally practising my riding , check out the L plate.. I ordered my personal plates today, cant wait for them. JEN80 jenbo being my "alias"

TeamMoto BBQ AND !!!!!

Well today our branch had their bbq at TeamMoto at Blacktown, to do some fundraising

Mark & I turned up around 11 am, for a late brunch. we wandered around checking out all the bikes as you do, when one caught our attention, It had just come in as a trade in, and was available AS IS.

We looked and thought about it, left and went home, and thought some more...

After some garden work and a run to the tip , and a few more discussions, we went straight to the shop again, Car and trailer in tow

at 3.30pm, here we were BACK at TeamMoto , we took the bike for a test ride each , while another couple looked on horrified as they too were interested in it..!!

Anyway after a quick think, I AM NOW THE PROUD OWNER OF

a 2004 Honda CB250 only 5000 kms on the clock !!

It was a sight watching Mark ride it all the way home !!! As i towed the trailer home

It needs a really good clean and polish (watch out for it at Big Al's show and shine later in the year!!!)

So here's to being a new Learner on the road "Watch Out"

Lithgow Iron Fest

Well the day was overcast , but a great turn out for the ride. We all met at Mc Donalds west bound on the m4, there were about 16 of us in total.
We set out down to Northern road, and travelled towards Richmond, we saw a car that never quite managed a 3 point turn, how the pole was staying upright i'll never know

We travelled up the Bells Line Road, Jenni & Marks first ever trip here, Jen shut her eyes on a few bends... All good.

We arrived at Lithgow all safe and sound, and after paying an entry fee of $10 to enter the show and shine bike comp, we all had our hands stamped and in we went..

the boys settled in to some serious shopping...

there were a mix of things happening, clowns, magicians, jousting people with their horses, but the highlight of the day was the chips on a stick.

We wandered around for a few hours, bumped into friends along the way, Saw some "different" things and people

we even found a Ulysses Garden Knome along the way

Some of us decided to leave the iron fest and make our way to little Hartley for a cuppa and late lunch

We made ourselves at home here for a while.

Lots of laughs, and story's of pot holes and the like along the way during the day !!!!

I can vouch for one !!! i am still feeling it

All in all in was a fun ride, My first time on the Bells Line Road, great fun, Great Friends (can i open my eyes now !! ?? hahaha)

Big Al's went off last night BIG TIME, it was a time warp of great fun and laughs
