Bowling Fun

We had a fun night out with about 14 of our members

We all went to Blacktown Bowling Centre

Lots of laughs

but there is only 1 winner at the end of the night

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Well we had our first meeting at our new venue.

All went well, we had a good turn out and an informative meeting

We Celebrated with and awarded Brendan his "70"Pin

We wished Stan a speedy recovery , he is currently in Westmead Hospital

We welcomed back and listened with great interest on Ross's adventures around Australia

We welcomed Ian onboard as our new branch secretary

TeamMoto BBQ AND !!!!!

Well today our branch had their bbq at TeamMoto at Blacktown, to do some fundraising

Mark & I turned up around 11 am, for a late brunch. we wandered around checking out all the bikes as you do, when one caught our attention, It had just come in as a trade in, and was available AS IS.

We looked and thought about it, left and went home, and thought some more...

After some garden work and a run to the tip , and a few more discussions, we went straight to the shop again, Car and trailer in tow

at 3.30pm, here we were BACK at TeamMoto , we took the bike for a test ride each , while another couple looked on horrified as they too were interested in it..!!

Anyway after a quick think, I AM NOW THE PROUD OWNER OF

a 2004 Honda CB250 only 5000 kms on the clock !!

It was a sight watching Mark ride it all the way home !!! As i towed the trailer home

It needs a really good clean and polish (watch out for it at Big Al's show and shine later in the year!!!)

So here's to being a new Learner on the road "Watch Out"

Lithgow Iron Fest

Well the day was overcast , but a great turn out for the ride. We all met at Mc Donalds west bound on the m4, there were about 16 of us in total.
We set out down to Northern road, and travelled towards Richmond, we saw a car that never quite managed a 3 point turn, how the pole was staying upright i'll never know

We travelled up the Bells Line Road, Jenni & Marks first ever trip here, Jen shut her eyes on a few bends... All good.

We arrived at Lithgow all safe and sound, and after paying an entry fee of $10 to enter the show and shine bike comp, we all had our hands stamped and in we went..

the boys settled in to some serious shopping...

there were a mix of things happening, clowns, magicians, jousting people with their horses, but the highlight of the day was the chips on a stick.

We wandered around for a few hours, bumped into friends along the way, Saw some "different" things and people

we even found a Ulysses Garden Knome along the way

Some of us decided to leave the iron fest and make our way to little Hartley for a cuppa and late lunch

We made ourselves at home here for a while.

Lots of laughs, and story's of pot holes and the like along the way during the day !!!!

I can vouch for one !!! i am still feeling it

All in all in was a fun ride, My first time on the Bells Line Road, great fun, Great Friends (can i open my eyes now !! ?? hahaha)

Hi everyone, sorry its been a while since i updated my page. Its been a hectic time of the year for us, As a lot of you may be aware we race dogs and have been to all the local shows and just finished with the Sydney Royal.

There has been some changes since I last updated here, A new Committee voted in, so here are some faces..

Well here we are again, Fox Hills Golf Club never looked so colourful.

All in our uniform shirts, a sea of red and blue.

It was great to catch up, its been a while, everyone looked refreshed and eager for a new year of rides.

Lots of general business discussed and upcoming rides etc..

We had a guest tonight Present Kim Kennersen , and his wife came along tonight to present Big Al with an award, in appreciation of fundraising held at the ClubHouse for UCARF "Ulysses Club Arthritis Research Fund"

Eastern Creek Learn to Ride

Morning everyone, I am so excited !!! I had my first riding lesson today!!

Eddy & Kevin met us at Big Als carpark and away we went, Jean was my Cheer squad over under the awning . IT WAS RAINING after all !!!

Then along came Alan & Maria and they had a few practise rides too.. It was Maria's very FIRST ever go at riding !!!

Big Al & Margo dropped by as well

Gosh it was FUN

2nd Jan 2010 Ride on a Saturday !!!

Well the morning started early , meeting at 9am at Mamre Road Mc Donalds.. Ian was our Ride Leader with some help from Eddy and Kevin along the way.
It was amoungst the biggest turn out for a while and a lot of happy faces set out towards our 1st stop of the day

After stopping and having a drink and a good chat we headed off towards our Lunch destination

We had a bit of a wet ride here, some stopping and putting on the wet weather gear , some having their bikes christened in the rain for the 1st time!!

We arrived just before 12 and just before a huge down pour !!! good timing i say !!!
Lunch was very nice, i dont think any chooks left in the region going by the number of chicken schnitzel ordered !!! there was NO GRAVY but..... how odd ???

We all enjoyed our stop at the Sutton Forrest Inn, On the bikes and off we headed for some shopping at down town Berrima Now some people should have done this first

SOME OF US went to Berrima and some went to down town Bowral, had a great time there, saw plenty and eventually got to Berrima via the scenic route... Thanks to Jen's IPHONE and satallite nav ,so we knew where we were !!! hahahaha

On arriving at Berrima, the girls and GUYS hit the shops..... a few of us enjoyed a cold ice cream, and some just spilt theirs... lots of laughs and time to go home for Mark & Jen

We said our good byes and followed the rain home all along the hume hwy... Not getting wet!!!

we did almost 300 kms OH my almost time for a party 2000kms is getting closer !!!

2009 has been a fun year for Mark & I , we Joined the Eastern Creek Ulysses Branch and have never looked back. Made some great friends and had a lot of laughs

That night we went to BIG AL's again for a Beach Party , Kevin was disappointed that there was no POOL!!!!
